Tell us about yourself. Where you’re from and how did you get to SMC?

My name is Alonna and I'm 21 years old. I was born in Los Angeles, California.When I graduated from high school, I had no motivation to go to college. I was tired of going to school for 6 long hours, and I figured I need a break from school for a couple of years. Unfortunately, my mom didn’t agree with that idea. She told me that if I decided slack off school and work at some dead end job, I would never go back to school. So my aunt showed me how to apply at SMC and now I’m here. I’m glad I listened to my mother’s words.

What is your major and what do you plan on focusing on in the future?

My major is Anthropolgy with a minor Psychology and I plan on transferring to a 4 year university. I can’t decide on what career I want because the major is so broad. Liberal Arts major are they way to go!

As a board member, what can you do to help this club succeed?

I would definitley want the club to go back to it's old ways. I want people to feel like they want to be in this club. It should not be a place where people feel intimidated by others. I'm a college student like them so I wouldn't want to feel like I'm better than them. They should be able to come talk to me or any other board members about something they're not happy with.

What's your favorite food?

I absolutely LOVE spaghetti. I could eat it all day! The only thing stopping me is carbs.

Who's your favorite superhero?

The Incredible Hulk. He's green and mean!

Jake Miller

If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be?

I would be V's successor from "V for Vendetta." Move over Evey Hammond!

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Nice, outgoing and odd
