Tell us about yourself. Where you’re from and how did you get to SMC?

I'm from The Netherlands and I decided to go to SMC because I had no clue what I wanted to do in my own country. Plus, I have always dreamt of coming to the US!!

How did you hear about the Psych Club?

I heard about the Psych Club in Spring 2013 through a classroom visit by a board member, and Fall 2013 I joined the board as events secretary, and now I am the president of this awesome club.

What is your major and what do you plan on focusing on in the future?

My major is Psychology, however, I am planning on going to go to Medical school!

As a board member, what can you do to help this club succeed?

As president it is my job to make this club succeed. I have learned a lot being a board member during the previous semester, and I believe I know what the members like and what they don't. I am going to make sure that Psych club feels like home to everyone, whether you're a general member or a board member. We are all part of the same club!

What's your favorite food?

Sarma!! (Stuffed grape leaves). I live for the ones my mother makes!

Who's your favorite superhero?

Female: Wonder Woman (Lasso of truth anyone??)

Male: Iron Man

Who's your favorite singer?

Christina Aguilera

If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be?

One of the Charmed sisters, it would be awesome to possess all that power hahah. Or Rebekah Mikaelson from my favorite show: ''The Originals'' Or Katherine Pierce from The Vampire Diaries. All of them are badass women!!!

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Patient, Sarcastic, Go-getter

If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?

''Getting what you want, the way you want it, and letting no one stand in your way.''
